The history of the Janczar company
It all started with friendship and a shared passion for motoring.
In 1991 , Jan Wojciechowicz and Cezary Ochranowicz , graduates of the Automotive School Complex in Olsztyn, decided to try something that was almost unheard of in Poland at that time – professional car window repairs and replacement .
They were inspired by a German friend, Jacek , who ran Autoglass in Karlsruhe. The early 1990s were a completely different world – private business was just emerging in Poland, and access to parts and tools was severely limited. Jan and Cezary imported their first windshields directly from West Germany .
Every week, one of them would hit the road—hundreds of kilometers each way—to replenish the warehouse and deliver to customers what no one else in northeastern Poland offered. The company's first headquarters was located on Partyzantów Street in Olsztyn , next to the railway viaduct—then called Auto-Szyby . There, they also began offering car window film wrapping services, a completely new concept at the time. The company quickly gained recognition, and a real breakthrough came when they were commissioned to wrap a fleet of 150 Ford cars in just a month and a half —a result that garnered industry recognition and admiration in the 1990s.
In 1996, the business expanded to include installation and servicing of Webasto and Eberspächer parking heaters . A second location was opened at 14 Towarowa Street , dedicated to servicing trucks and heating systems. It was then that the specialization for which Janczar is renowned to this day began to develop: precise, technical services for the automotive and caravanning industries .
The year 2006 brought another milestone – the construction of a modern headquarters at 35D Lubelska Street . The facility, spanning over 1,500 square meters, combined the two previous locations into a single, comprehensive service center. It is here that the company continues to thrive today, combining tradition with modernity.
In 2008, Janczar launched a professional automotive air conditioning service , investing in its first cooling system diagnostic and maintenance equipment. From that point on, the company began specializing in comprehensive comfort system services —from windows, through heating and air conditioning, to complete vehicle retrofitting.
A new chapter in the company's history began in 2021. Both Jan and Cezary – privately passionate travelers – purchased their own campervans. They quickly realized that the region lacked a company offering comprehensive services for campervan owners : retrofitting, system inspections, servicing, and installation of heating and air conditioning systems.
Thanks to many years of experience in working with Webasto, Eberspächer and Truma systems, and cooperation with top suppliers in the caravanning industry, they decided to expand Janczar's offer with professional service and retrofitting of campers in Warmia and Mazury.
Authorizations and partnerships
Over the years, Janczar has built a reputation as a reliable partner, confirmed by official authorizations from the world's largest brands. Today, the company is an authorized partner for automotive glass: Pilkington, Securit Saint-Gobain, AGC, and Fuyao Group , as well as heating, air conditioning, and caravanning systems: Webasto, Eberspächer, Truma, Dometic, and Autoclima . Thanks to these partnerships, all installations and services are performed using original parts, in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and at OEM quality. This guarantees reliability and safety, appreciated by individual customers, workshops, fleets, and shipyards alike.

Meet the founders

Jan Wojciechowicz
A graduate of the Automotive School Complex named after Lt. AM Bocheński in Olsztyn, he has always been involved in the automotive industry – out of passion, not chance.
His life is not just about mechanics, but above all, about travel. Literally. He has traveled the world by motorcycle – from Anchorage, Alaska, to Ushuaia, Argentina (his expedition journal is available here ), crossing both Americas from north to south and west to east.
On his motorcycle, he visited Georgia, Ukraine, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Nepal, as well as China and Tibet. He spent many months in Central and South America, traveling through Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Panama—often in extreme conditions, at altitudes of over 5,000 meters above sea level in the Patagonian ranges.
In recent years, he has been exploring South Africa off-road, and when he's not traveling on his motorcycle, he hits the road in his Bürstner Ixeo 726 camper, discovering new corners of Europe – his favorite region is the south of Spain.
Co-founder of Grupa Moto Rewolucja Sp. z o. o., authorized dealer of KTM ( ktmsklep.pl ), GASGAS ( gasgas-sklep.pl ), Husqvarna and Yamaha ( yama-sklep.pl and wojciechowicz.dealer-yamaha.pl ).
A father, mechanic, traveler, mentor, and enthusiast, he was the primary teacher and supporter of his son, Oskar Wojciechowicz, during his motocross competitions and the launch of his motorcycle business, imparting not only technical knowledge but also a philosophy of courage and perseverance that remains part of the DNA of both companies – Janczar and Grupa Moto Rewolucja.

Cezary Ochranowicz
A graduate of the Automotive School Complex named after Lt. AM Bocheński in Olsztyn – the same school Jan Wojciechowicz graduated from. From an early age, he demonstrated tremendous determination and a love of exercise. In his youth, he practiced judo, representing the region in national competitions, and as a teenager, he trained with Gwardia Wrocław. Sport taught him discipline, perseverance, and consistency – values that still influence the way he runs his company today.
At the age of 20, he moved to the United States, where he lived for several years in Miami and Waikiki. It was there that he discovered a modern approach to service and customer care, which he later brought to Poland, returning to Poland and founding a company with Jan Wojciechowicz – Janczar.
In his private life, Cezary is passionate about travel and water sports. For many years, he practiced kitesurfing, regularly traveling to Egypt to brave the extreme conditions and winds of the open sea. Over time, he also developed a love for campervan travel, which has now become part of his lifestyle. He and his wife have traveled almost all of Europe, from Scandinavia to southern Spain, appreciating freedom, independence, and closeness to nature.
He leads an active lifestyle—mountain biking, Nordic walking, running, and winter swimming—a way to maintain strength, resilience, and mental balance. Automotive remains his great passion—importing unique cars from the USA, restoring classic and sports models that blend history with modernity.
30 years of uninterrupted work on perfection – in every detail and every order.
“Time is the best test of quality – both of people and of works.”
Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
We go back to 2003–2005...
It was a very intense time when Jan and Czarek, entering their forties, decided to fulfill their professional dream. This is how the headquarters that remains the heart of the Janczar company to this day was created – a symbol of perseverance, ambition, and a shared vision.
Proof that dreams have shape
We started with a dream, a plan on paper, and an empty plot of land. Today, our headquarters stands here – built with our own hands, out of passion and the belief that anything is possible.
The result of years of work, hundreds of decisions, and thousands of hours of dedication. This is the path from vision to reality.
