There is no factory limit on operating time, but manufacturers recommend that the heating be:
- serviced annually or every 1000 hours of operation,
- also run in summer (once a month for 10–15 minutes) to prevent the burner and fan elements from becoming clogged.
The practical limits are therefore only the battery condition and the amount of fuel in the tank . With adequate power, the heater can run continuously for as long as you need it.
Does heating affect engine longevity or operation?
